Lehigh Valley Hospital Named a “Best Hospital” for Endocrinology

Every year, U.S. News & World Report publishes its “America’s Best Hospitals” rankings. This year, these rankings hold special meaning for people with diabetes, because Lehigh Valley Hospital has been ranked one of the nation’s best in eight different specialties—including endocrinology, which covers diabetes care and treatment.

And if you have diabetes complications, Lehigh Valley Hospital is one of the best hospitals in the country for heart, urological and kidney care, too.

The eight specialties are:

  • Cancer
  • Digestive Disorders
  • Endocrinology
  • Heart and Heart Surgery
  • Kidney Disease
  • Orthopedics
  • Respiratory Disorders
  • Urology

This is the 11th consecutive year Lehigh Valley Hospital has made the U. S. News rankings, and it’s the only hospital in the region to be ranked at all in 2006.
